Glass setting tape uncured : 1.2mm thick

I had problems using the setting tape. After fitting tape to glass it proved very difficult to push the glass into the frame, and, with the frame damaged, the effort had to be abandoned. Advice: Purchase the correct thickness tape; Beware of damaging the frame by using excessive force; If new to the task, get someone experienced to do it for you; Consider alternative ways to seal your window.
